The Postman style was introduced by the Red Wing Shoe Company back in 1954, responding to the needs of the American Postman. For a long time the Postman style was only available in the black version, which was also used by Patrick Ervell in one of his NYFW runway show. Last year Red Wing Heritage re-introduced the style in various types of leather. The postman is ideal for anyone who wants classy, sturdy footwear while the sun is out shining. The Concrete Rough & Tough leather has a very distinct antique texture. Red Wing named it a "pull-up" leather, which stands for the flexible quality.
