We could not be more excited to share this news with you. Red Wing Amsterdam is collaborating with RockArchive Amsterdam to organise a very special in-store event. Starting this week, Red Wing Amsterdam will be hosting a collaborative exhibition all about music. The Red Wing Shoe Store Amsterdam will make place for a selection of fine prints from RockArchive Amsterdam. RockArchive Amsterdam is a photo gallery founded in 2004 with an amazing collection of images of some of (Rock) music’s most legendary artists, taken by more than fifty renowned photographers. We will personally curate a collection that will be put on display in the Red Wing Shoe Store Amsterdam. Some of our favourite artists will be lining the store’s walls. From the legendary likes of Prince and the Rolling Stones to the iconic Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse and two of the Netherland’s greatest, André Hazes and Herman Brood. The exhibition is going to be absolutely awesome! Red Wing Shoes has always shared a connection with music and the music industry. It is something about the free spirit that is at the core of every pair of Red Wings that over the years has attracted a lot of musicians to wearing them. All our colleagues have a great passion for music, as do a lot of the people that visit Red Wing Amsterdam. At the store, everyone loves discussing music! It is for this reason that we are extremely excited for the upcoming exhibition. Of course, a launch party will be held. Everyone is invited to come and join us while we celebrate the first Red Wing Amsterdam x RockArchive Amsterdam 'Music Heroes' Photo-Exhibition on February 9, starting at 17:00 till 20:00 at the Reestraat 15-hs in Amsterdam. With drinks, music, Red Wing boots and awesome people you’ll be sure to have a good time! RSVP for this special evening right here on Facebook.
