The last week of May we held our official Shoe Care Day at the Red Wing Shoe Store Amsterdam. Just like always, our good friend and brilliant shoemaker Ger Wijsman was present to help us clean and polish the shoes of all the customers that visited this annual event. Of course Ger wouldn’t be Ger if he does not teach us something new about shoe care every time he drops by. This time, he taught us all about ‘Spit Shine’ – a special polishing technique to make your shoes extra shiny.
