As you know, Red Wing Shoes are made from hard-wearing quality leathers. Basically, if you treat your leather in the right way - by conditioning them well once every 3/4 months of wear - they will live a long life. However, the sole will be through at one point. Good thing is, all Red Wing Shoes are equipped with a stitched Goodyear Welted sole. Which means, the sole is easily replacable. We have been working with Ger for a long time already now, and he's one of these craftsmen you don't see often anymore. In he Netherlands, Wijsman is the only certified Red Wing Repair Centre. We just wanted to share an impression of his work and capability here with us. If you ever need to have your Red Wing Shoes re-soled or you want them to be customized, just stop by the store and deliver your old pair. You can also contact us through webshop@redwingamsterdam.com. We'll make sure they'll be as new when you get them back!
