Rare Red Wing Irish Setter Sport Boots

We were gladly surprised to find images from this unique pair of Irish Setter sport boots. They were bought in Japan somewhere in the 1990s, in the midst of the Red Wing craze that was just settling back then. Assumably, it's one of the first ever produced Classic Rounds in the Abilene Roughout leather. From the Irish Setter cloth label and with use of the excerpt from the 2nd Red Wing Book as recently featured on our Tumblr page, you can tell it's an early 90's manufacture. Nowadays these are produeced as the 8167 Classic Round, unfortunately as a Japanese exclusive. But no need for panic, it's twin brother 8181 Classic Round Hawthorne Muleskinner can be found in our webstore. Thanks to Allevol for sharing this rare pair of Irish Setters!
