What time is it?! Work Chukka time! Okay, now in all seriousness, it's time for the third instalment to our Red Wing Core Collection series. After introducing you to the Classic Iron Ranger and the Classic Moc Toe, it's time to get to know the Classic Work Chukka. When viewed next to its older brothers, this style may seem like a bit of an odd duckling. It's a little bit lower and the soles are a little bit thinner, to name but a few of the differences. But after getting to know the Classic Work Chukka, you'll certainly think otherwise. The style has a unique background and feels at home in almost every situation, be it indoors or outdoors, so let's get into this! Meet the Classic Chukka The Classic Work Chukka may be the most versatile Red Wing style. You can wear it in the winter or in the summer, indoors or outdoors, to your work or a night-out, with a pair of raw denims or a chique chino... Okay, we'll stop now, you probably get the point that we're trying to make. All of the Classic Work Chukka styles feature Red Wing's tried and tested Goodyear Welt construction and a flexible Atlas Tred sole. These soles are slightly thinner and more ergonomic that the Traction Tred sole featured on styles like the Classic Moc Toe. Moreover, the boots a slightly lower than the conventional 6" Red Wing boot styles. These features make for a pair boots that is light-weight and flexible, yet still very strong. This way, the Classic Work Chukka is more appropriate for indoors situations and hot summer days than its older brothers.
