The Red Wing Heritage release season has officially started! Today we launch the limited edition Red Wing Shoes 9197 6'' Postman boot in Black Chaparral. The Policeman boot is based off a classic shoe, the 102, that was invented in the 1950's for Policeman who were walking a lot of miles to take care of the correspondance in the city. Spending these many hours on their feet, they needed shoes to look formal but had to be sturdy and comfortable too. This pair of boots can be worn as a modern gentleman addition to your outfit of this latter part of 2015. The Red Wing Shoes 9197 Policeman boot is an addition to the Red Wing Shoes 101 Postman and Red Wing Shoes 9196 Policeman Chukka. It is made with the smooth finished Black Chapparal leather and is built on top of a Slip Resistant Black Cushion sole. You are now able to purchase the Red Wing Shoes 9197 6'' Policeman boots in our online store. With every order we will supply a copy of the just released second edition of the official Red Wing Post!
