Red Wing Shoes 8196 Classic Round Toe in Briar Oil Slick

This one is by special request from some of you guys. Please welcome the Red Wing Shoe 6'' Classic Round Toe in the famous Briar Oil Slick leather. The Classic Round Toe has been part of the collection since 1919 and was designed with a dual purpose. On the one hand it needed to have the comfort of a round toe oxford and on the other hand it needed to have the durability of a work boot. Rather than just sewing two pieces of leather together to create a moccasin, this design is more durable because it consists of just the one, big piece of leather. For those unfamiliar with the Briar Oil Slick leather quality, this is a dark brown (with a little bit of a purple/red-ish shade in there) oiled leather, which is soft by its nature. The color can be easily restored by oiling it with the Natural Boot Oil. Furthermore, the color of this leather allows you to combine it with everything.
