New Balance x Red Wing Heritage collaboration

We are incredibly excited to announce the release of the Red Wing x New Balance 977 shoe using exceptional quality Hawthorne Muleskinner leather that is tanned in Red Wing’s own Tannery. This is a very exciting release collaborating two brands with a recoginised heritage of making the highest quality footwear in their own specific fields. Red Wing Heritage, the lifestyle footwear brand, has partnered with iconic athletic footwear brand, New Balance, to create a premium, yet rugged rendition of New Balance’s iconic classic Made in USA 997 style launching this fall. The rich heritage and craftsmanship each footwear brand believe in, made for a natural collaboration and creation of this premium limited-edition style. New Balance introduced the Made in USA 997 in 1990. At the time, this style was the brand’s most innovative design and was more technically advanced than its previous 99x models. Today, the Made in USA 997 model is praised as an iconic cult-classic. “We saw the opportunity to bring the best of the two brands together to create a shoe that is truly covetable. Something we know our Made in USA consumers will appreciate.” The New Balance x Red Wing Heritage collaboration style elevates the iconic Made in USA 997 silhouette using Red Wing-sourced, Hawthorne Muleskinner Leather. Designed by incorporating both a roughout leather and a lighter, smooth leather, the sneaker will be finished with a co-branded insole and Red Wing’s recognizable triple stitch heel. The Red Wing x New Balance 977 in Hawthorne Muleskinner will be available from the 21^st September 2019 at Midnight.
