First new Red Wing Shoes arrival for Winter 2014; Iron Ranger 8116 in Charcoal Rough & Tough!
For years
Red Wing Shoes has made the beloved Iron Ranger series. A enormous versatile piece of footwear with such a classic look. These days the Iron Ranger is so widely worn that it's status reaches iconic proportions.
Therefore we are very happy to release a new Iron Ranger. The
Red Wing Shoes 8116 Iron Ranger is made with Charcoal Rough & Tough leather. The dark smoky leather, together with the darkened eyelets and speed hooks gives it a dark and mysterious look. Like the other Iron Rangers, the 8116 is finished with a flexible Nitrile Cork Sole.
The story behind this iconic shoe lies in the old mining business. The Red Wing Shoes Iron Ranger is inspired on old miner’s boots. Therefore it has a double leather layer toecap with a two-double stitch, which provided extra safety. The same goes for the extra heel protection, extra safety and support.
All in all we are very excited with this new addition to the Iron Ranger series and cannot wait to see some worn in pairs.
