At the Red Wing Amsterdam store we are about everything that relates to craftsmanship, not just our Red Wing Shoes. We feel like art and craftsmanship are quintessential to each other. We always like to see the seemingly unrelated worlds of art and Red Wing Shoes collide with each other.
Dutch visual artist Steven Oprinsen started a painting project on a pair of our Red Wing 877 8” Classic Moc Toes in Oro-Legacy. Steven is a seasoned artist; his work has even been recorded in the archive of the Stedelijk Museum. That museum is one the Netherlands’ most respected and focusses on modern and contemporary art. While it is still a work in progress, we are already excited for the final result!
Thanks Mr. Oprinsen, for giving us a heads up on the project.
