Red Wing Shoes tend to run larger than your regular shoe size. Please take this into consideration when purchasing a pair. We would therefore recommend to take this style a full size down.
The origin of the Red Wing Shoes Irish Setter 6" Moc Toe 9875 in Gold Russet Sequoia goes back to the 1950's, when the Red Wing Shoe Company introduced a lace-up boot for bird and deer hunters. The leather, tanned to a deep reddish-orange color using the bark of sequoia trees, gave these boots the name 'Irish Setter'. The Red Wing Shoe Company took the task upon herself to recreate the Irish Setter boot. With the Red Wing name embossed on the inside quarter of the boot, the woven “Irish Setter” label inside the tongue, the same mahogany and sage thread, the double stitched top and leather instead of Taslan laces, the 9875 adds up to be both unique and true to its name. The Irish setter Moc Toe 9875 is built on a White Traction Tred sole.
